Strides for Missions 5K Race

In 2007, Deep Run East church members planned the first annual Strides for Mission 5K Race. Each year, this event raises funds for a variety of mission projects including MAMA Project, Inc., congregation members traveling in missions abroad, Tree of Life International (supporting sustainability in Haiti), etc. The Strides for Mission 5K Race is a great event for community interaction and involvement in support of healthy behavior and mission work locally and internationally.
